Energy Performance Certificates & SAP calculations
AHBSS has invested in training and software through Elmhurst Energy Systems Ltd, a Government accredited body for the issue and endorsement of Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP) ratings. The accreditation is contained in a license granted by DEFRA. Elmhurst is registered under ISO EN 9002 for quality assurance and the Elmhurst SAP software is independently checked and approved by the Building Research Establishment ensuring it complies fully with the SAP.
Alan Holmes is an Elmhurst SAP2005 design software accredited assessor, trained to an approved standard to produce ‘On Construction’ SAP calculations and ‘On Construction’ Energy Performance Certificates. Alan is also trained and accredited for RdSAP EPC on existing buildings completed before 6th April 2008.
To assist in your proposed new residential developments AHBSS also offer Predictive Energy Assessment (PEA) calculations for submission to Building Control. The PEA can also be used to develop the Code for Sustainable Homes assessments and calculate carbon emissions. Working with the Code for Sustainable Homes assessor AHBSS can assist in determining the most cost effective methods of meeting the Code.
